Saeed Sargana was always good in academics at
Petaro. After Petaro, he joined the Pakistan Navy
in 1968 and got his commission in 1970.
His career in the Navy was marked with
distinctions. Being part of the Supply Branch, he
served aboard PN ships Alamgir, Babur, Tughril,
and Madadgar.
During his tenure, he obtained training in
Inventory Management at France. He also did
his NDC course and obtained his MSc in War Studies
from Quaid-e-Azam University in 1998.
Among his assignments, he was posted as Deputy
Attaché, Defence Procurement at the Embassy of
Pakistan in Washington, DC. His assignments in
Pakistan included Secretary to Chief of Naval
Staff, GSO-I at Joint Staff Headquarters, Director
of Procurement, and Commanding Officer of naval
Store Depot. Prior to his retirement, he was
posted as Director General of NAB in Rawalpindi.
Since his retirement, he first worked for a while
in Lahore with a major real estate developer as
the General Manager. He is now posted at the Dy.
Managing Director of Bahria Foundation in
Islamabad.
