Mohammed Zafar Khan, kit no. 280/Jinnah House joined Cadet College Petaro in 1962 and left the college in 1963 while he was in the 9th class.

He was born on 3 January 1948. He got married to Mrs. Shagufta on 5 January 1986. They have two children.

Zafar Khan joined the Civil Service of Pakistan. Most of his career was with the Ministry of Industries. He retired from the ministry as a Federal Joint Secretary in 2008.

He has been quite prominent on the Petarian scene in Islamabad over the years, and has been a key person in guiding the Petarian Association Islamabad Chapter.

After his retirement, he is settled down in Islamabad.
