After leaving Petaro, Naser joined the Pakistan
Air Force. However, this did not last for more
than a year, and he decided to quit and move on in
life.
He then moved to East Pakistan and settled down in
Dhaka to work with his father in his construction
business Warraichsons Ltd. When East Pakistan was
lost in 1971, he was forced to leave Dhaka and
return to West Pakistan. Prior to leaving Dhaka, he
had a difficult time with the Mukti Bahini. He was
lucky that some well-wishers helped him leave on
the last flight from Dhaka to Karachi.
The subsequent period in Karachi was difficult and he went
through a period of depression in his life for the
coming several years. It was during this period
that he got married. He then continued to work
with his father in Karachi.
Naser then migrated to Canada in 1988. After working in
Montreal for a couple of years, he settled down in Calgary,
Alberta. Unfortunately, it was within 3
years of his move to Calgary that he suffered a heart attack
and did not survive. May Allah bless his soul.
Naser's elder brother Munir Varraich, 70/Jinnah
and younger brother Zaheer Warraich, 541/Jinnah
are also Petarians. Zaheer is now the guardian of
Naser's family. |
