Najmuddin Ansari was the first
JUO of Latif House at
Petaro.
After Petaro, Najmuddin Ansari joined the Pakistan
Navy. At the same time, he graduated as an
Electrical Engineer. For higher studies, he went
to the UK and took courses in Weapons Electrical
Engineering applications. He also did the Joint
Services Staff College Course.
He was the departmental head on Pakistan Navy
ships, and was also posted as a Deputy Director at
the Naval Headquarters, and later on at the
Ministry of Defence for Production. Lastly, before
retiring from the navy as a Commander, he served
as Dean of Faculty at the PN Engineering College
in Karachi.
Since his retirement from the navy, Cdr.(R)
Najmuddin Ansari set up his own business under the
name of Commander Associates. He is the Managing
Director of this company.
He has also been very active with the Petarian
Association. He has been a member of the Managing
Committee of the Association a few times.
At present he is settled in Karachi with his
family.
