Arshad is my batch mate (1964-1969), and he shown his leadership qualities amongst our batch mates by trying to bring us all together.

During his last year at Petaro, he was appointed the Senior Section Commander of Jinnah House. Arshad was always good at studies and remained among the top few students of our class.

After passing out from Petaro, he joined the Pakistan Army in the 45th Long Course.  During his military career, he rose up through the ranks to become a Brigadier. He finally retired in this rank.

His last posting was at Bahawalpur.

After his retirement, he chose to lead a semi-retired life and enjoys himself thoroughly. He has been involved in real estate business as well.

Arshad has served the Petarian Association, Karachi and was elected to the post of Vice-President.

It is an honour for me to be the batch mate of Brig.(R) Arshad Zaman.
