Syed Muhammad Mujtaba, kit no. 579/Liaquat House joined Cadet College Petaro in 1964 in 11th Class and left the college in 1966 after completing his Intermediate.

He was born on 12 March 1949. He got married to Mrs. Azra on 4 August 1982 and they have two children - Haider and Fatima.

Syed Muhammad Mujtaba joined the Pakistan Army in the 41st PMA Long Course in 1967 and was commissioned in 29 Cavalry.

During the course of his career, he has served in various staff, instructional and command assignments. He also served at the Joint Staff HQ.

After his retirement, Brig.(R) Syed Muhammad Mujaba joined the Fauji Foundation, and he currently serves there as the Secretary to the Board.

He is settled in Rawalpindi with his family.
