Kalim was my batch mate. Since he was in the
neighbouring Ayub House, we used to interact quite
often.
After leaving Petaro, Kalim joined NED Engineering
College, and graduated as a Mechanical Engineer in
1974. After working with different industries,
Kalim acquired a specialization in the field of
vibration monitoring and control. He is one of the
very few people in Pakistan who are considered to
be an authority in this field.
For the past several years, he set up his own
vibration engineering consulting and services
company under the name of Petarian Engineering
Services. He is the Chief Executive of this
company.
Kalim's elder brother
Muhammad Waseem, kit no. 340 is also a
Petarian.
