Nisar Ahmed Choudhary, kit no. 8712/Qasim House joined Cadet College Petaro in 1986 in 7th Class and left the college in 1992 after completing his Intermediate.

He was born on 9 March 1975, and was married to Mrs. Sameera on 3 November 2002. They have two children - Inshrah and Yahya.

Dr. Nisar Choudhary belongs to Faisalabad in the Punjab.

After leaving Petaro, he completed joined Liaquat University for Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro and obtained his MBBS degree in 1998. He then completed Part 1 in Urology as well in 2001. However, his further medical studies came to a halt temporarily as he chose to enter politics soon thereafter.

His family and his in-laws were in politics. His father-in-law Mr. Ch. Muhammad Ilyas Jatt (who is also his maternal uncle) had been the MNA in the past from Faisalabad. Nisar entered into his tradition and ran for elections to the National Assembly in 2002 and was elected on the PPPP ticket from Faisalabad. These elections were as a result of Gen. Musharraf's coup in 1999. However, due to various factors that emerged right after the elections, he became one of the founder members of the PPPP-Patriots breakaway wing, which became a separate party in its own right. In his capacity as the MNA from PPPP-P, he was also appointed as Chairman of the Anti-Narcotics Parliamentary Committee.

Nisar Choudhary lost the 2008 elections with the tide having turned against the Musharraf regime. He chose to migrate to Canada and to pursue his medical field. At present, he is in Kitchener, Ontario where he is pursuing higher medical studies.
