Wajeehuddin Ahmed, kit no. 89160/Latif House joined Cadet College Petaro in 1989 and left the college in 1994 after completing his Intermediate.

He got married to Dr. Saba on 30 July 2005. They have a daughter named Hiba, and they presently live in Dubai, UAE.

Born at Karachi, Wajeeh is pretty much a self made man. His family moved to Abu Dhabi when he was barely 2 years old. He got his early schooling from Sheikh Khalifah Bin Zayed Pakistani School in Abu Dhabi, and also from Pakistan College in Sharjah.

Petaro was a new experience for him. Leaving behind the comforts of life one enjoys in the Middle East, Wajeeh had to learn how to survive in the relatively tougher environment at Petaro.

He was a good sportsman, and soon after joining Petaro he was selected to become a member of the college Football team. Later on he also became a member of the College Hockey team, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis and Shooting teams. He was also the President of the Chemical Hobbies Society at Petaro.

During his last year at Petaro, he was appointed the Senior Leading Cadet of Latif Division.

After leaving Petaro, Wajeeh joined Hamdard Institute of Management Sciences, Hamdard University Karachi in 1996. He obtained a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, and then obtained his MBA in 2001.

In 2002, he got a great opportunity to join Maersk Lines, the world's largest shipping line (headquartered in Denmark) as Senior Executive (Supply Chain) based out of Karachi. During this period, he got a chance to travel extensively in Far East and Europe for training and workshops.

In 2005, he got admission to study Supply Chain Management at the Birmingham City University in the UK. He obtained his MSc with distinction from there in 2007. It should be noted that just as he was about to leave for the UK, as per the wishes of his parents, his nikah ceremony with Dr. Saba was conducted. The rukhsati was a year later, when she accompanied him to the UK.

Due to his excellent performance in the UK, he immediately got a lucrative job with Kuehne Nagel in Birmingham and then transferred to Dubai as Operations Manager.

In 2008, he moved to APL Logistics (a sister company of NOL Group) as Regional Service Integrity Manager (Middle East & Africa). This was a great challenge for him.

Wajeeh has been one of the prime movers and organizers for Petarian activities in the UAE. He is the first General Secretary of the Petarian Association of UAE (PAUAE).
