PASA Petarian Association of Saudi Arabia

Introduction, History & Activities:

Founded in 2004, the Petarian Association of Saudi Arabia or PASA is the central body of the nearly 50 Petarians living in the Saudi Arabia. It is a close knit group with its headquarters in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

The key person who has mobilized the Petarians in Saudi Arabia is Aurangzeb Khan, 431/Latif. It was his love and leadership that brought the Petarians in KSA to become very close knit.

The following persons have been the Presidents of PASA over the years:

  • 2004-2006     - Mohammad Nadeem Khan, 8429/Iqbal

  • 2006-2008     - Khalid Ranjhani, 82125/Jinnah

  • 2008-present - Aurangzeb Khan, 431/Latif

PASA has played an important role is setting annual awards for excellence at Petaro since 2007.  In the year 2008, PASA has donated Rs. 100,000 to the college for this purpose, out of which Rs. 10,000 each have been given to the following categories:

  • Best Cadet in Academics

  • Best Cadet in Sports

  • Best Cadet in Extra-curricular activities

  • Best Employee

  • Best Teacher

The remaining Rs. 50,000 are utilized for welfare or other purposes.

The PASA members meet regularly along with their families over dinners and other occasions.
