Sultan Ahmed Khan Afridi, kit no. 33/Jinnah House joined Cadet College Petaro in 1958 in at Mirpurkhas with the second batch, and left the college in 1961 after completing his Matric.

He was born on 5 January 1945. He had three wives, namely Mrs. Gulshan, Mrs. Fehmida, and Mrs. Ghazala. His first marriage took place on 1 June 1970. He was estranged and divorced from his first wife.

He has a total of eight children from his wives: Imran and Kamran from his first wife, Zeeshan (kit no. 9191/J), Shazia, Najia and Sukana from his second wife, and Farah and Saad from his third wife.

Sultan Afridi died on 12 March 1998 at Karachi.

Sultan was Captain of Jinnah House Football Team from 1959-1961. He was also a top athlete.

He was the President of the Aeromodelling Club from 1959-1961.

He left Petaro early in order to join Pakistan Air Force. However, he left the air force a short while later to enter into civilian life. He then graduated with a BA degree and also obtained an LL.B. from Karachi.

Sultan Afridi worked with Karachi Port Trust (KPT) for most of his life. Towards the end of his life, he was Director for the Dock Workers Safety at KPT.

He was also very closely affiliated to the Pakistan People's Party. He was close to Benazir Bhutto and was among the people who were involved to bring her back to Pakistan in 1987.

He was a very active member of the Petarian Association and was a member of its Managing Committee for four years. He was in the forefront of organizing events.

Sultan Afridi met with a violent death. He was shot dead at his home. To this date the assailants are unknown. In a possible cover up, it has also been suggested that he committed suicide. The truth of the matter will probably never be known.

May Allah have mercy on him and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
