Muhammad
Zulfiqar Kayani, kit no. 604/Qasim House joined Cadet
College Petaro in 1964 in Ayub House and moved to
Qasim House in 1967. He left the college in
1969 after completing his Intermediate.
He was born on
11 November 1951 and got married
to Mrs. Farzana on 21 January 1983. They
have 4 children.

Zulfi is my batch mate (1964-1969). He was always
considered to be one of the naughty boys during
our Petaro days. However, with age, the
naughtiness is all gone, and he has emerged as a
very stable and serious person in life after
having weathered the army days.
After passing out from Petaro, he joined Pakistan
Army in the Punjab Regiment after qualifying in
the 45th Long Course. When he was a Major in the
army, he opted for voluntary retirement to seek
greener pastures.
During the early 1990s, Zulfi got a job with the
Intelligence Bureau as the Director
Administration. With the change in government, his
contract was over, and he moved on to become the
Regional Manager in the north for Wackenhut
Security Services (Pvt) Ltd. He was instrumental
in building their business in the north. Around
the year 1998, he moved on to join another
security services company, which did not work out.
Thus, he opted to start his own company, Premier
Security Services (Pvt) Ltd. in partnership. The
company was founded in 1995, but he became a
shareholder in the year 2000. Since then, he
has been the Chief Operating Officer of the
company and has built it into one of the largest
security services companies in Pakistan.
