Atiq Ahmed - 2009

Atiq Ahmed, kit no. 68127/Qasim House joined Cadet College Petaro in 1968 in 11th Class and left the college in 1970 after completing his Intermediate.

 He was born on 30 January 1953. He got married to Mrs. Nuzhat on 6 April 1986. They had four children - Saad, Saba, Ammad and Saim.

He expired on 6 August 2011 at Lahore due to cancer.

After leaving Petaro, Atiq joined University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore and graduated as a Mechanical Engineer in 1975.

For the past several years prior to his death, he was posted at Abu Dhabi, UAE as Procurement Supervisor at China Petroleum.

Atiq suffered from cancer for nearly a year before his death. Prior to his death, the doctors removed a tumor from his urinary bladder.
