Wadood was a member
of the College Basketball team for three years
during 1968-1971. He was also a member of the
Famous Forties of
1968.
After leaving Petaro, joined Pakistan Army in 1972
in the 50th Long Course. He was commissioned as an
officer in 1974 in the Army Services Corps.
During his years in
service with the Army, he served at Kharian,
Nowshera, Karachi, Multan and Gilgit. While in
service, his last posting was at Islamabad when he
was posted to the Capital Development Authority
(CDA) as in charge of Enforcement and Security
during 1995-1998.
He retired from the
Army in 1999 on the rank of a Major.
Wadood is now
settled down at Rawalpindi with his family.
