Arif was the
JUO of Iqbal House
during his final year. He was the Captain of
the College Hockey team during his final year, and
a member of the College Basketball team during his
last two years at the college. He was also a member
of the Famous
Forties of 1967 and 1968.
Arif joined Pakistan
Air Force after leaving Petaro, and took
retirement from there when he was a Wing Cdr.
After leaving the
Air Force, he joined PIA as a pilot. At present he
is a co-pilot on the A-310 aircraft. In 2012, he
became the General Secretary of the Pakistan
Airline Pilots Association.
