Lieut. Mohammed Parvez Aslam

Lieut. Mohammed Parvez Aslam - Shaheed, kit no. 811/Ayub House joined Cadet College Petaro in 1966 in 11th Class and left the college in 1968 after completing his Intermediate.

He was born on 29 July 1949, and obtained his shahadat on 17 December 1971 at Shakargarh (West Pakistan) during the 1971 War with India.

He was a good sportsman, and was a member of the Famous Forties at Petaro in 1966 and 1967.

وَلا تَقُولُوا لِمَنْ يُقْتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتٌ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ وَلَكِنْ لا تَشْعُرُونَ
And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: "They are dead." Nay, they are living, though you perceive (it) not. [Al-Qur'an 2.154]

May Allah accept his shahadat and grant him the choicest place in Jannatul Firdaus.
