Lt.Cdr.(R) Farooq Farid Khan - 2010

Farooq Farid Khan, kit no. 7078/Qasim House joined Cadet College Petaro in 1970 in 8th class and left the college in 1975 after completing his Intermediate.

He was born on 14 November 1956 and got married to Mrs. Umber on 10 August 1981. They have 2 children - Naziha and Onaisa. The family is settled in the Silicon Valley, California.

During his final year at Petaro, Farooq was appointed the JUO of Qasim House.

Farooq joined Pakistan Navy shortly after leaving Petaro. He also obtained a B.Sc. degree in Management from Karachi University in 1979.

While was still a lieutenant, he became the seventeenth Adjutant of Cadet College Petaro 1985 to 1988. After leaving Petaro, he was promoted as a Lieutenant Commander.

Farooq retired from the Navy as a Lt.Cdr.  Soon thereafter, he moved to the USA and settled down in California. He is presently the President of American Safe Investments in Newark, California.
