Syed Humayoon Sarwat, kit no. 7465/Iqbal House joined Cadet College Petaro in 1974 and left the college in 1979 after completing his Intermediate.

He was born on 9 February 1961. He got married to Dr. Rabia on 23 July 2005. They have two children - Muhi and Hadi.
After leaving Petaro, Humayoon got his degree in medicine from Sind Medical College (SMC) Karachi in 1987. He then got his FCPS post graduation in Thoracic Surgery from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Karachi in 2000. He has worked for several years as a Thoracic Surgeon at the Ojha Institute of Chest Diseases which is a part of the Government of Sindh Health Department. Presently he is working at Civil Hospital, Karachi.

Humayoon is one of the founding members of the Petarian Association has been very active over the years. He has served the Managing Committee in various capacities right from the beginning.
