Abdul Nabi

Sardar Abdul Nabi Thaheem, kit no.
75103/Qasim House joined Cadet
College Petaro in 1975 and left the college in 1980
after completing his Intermediate.
He was born on
7 August 1961, and got married on
4 April 1988. They have 3 children.
Abdul Nabi belongs originally to Jacobabad
district, and hails from the village of Sheranpur.
When his father expired in 2010, Abdul Nabi was
crowned the Sardar of the Thaheem tribe.

Abdul Nabi graduated as an Electrical Engineer
from Mehran University of Engineering and
Technology in 1988. Subsequently, he also
completed his LL.B. from S.M. Law College in 2001.
His entire career
has been with the Government of Sindh. He has
served the government in different capacities and
in different departments. Currently, he is the EDI
(F&P) in the Jacobabad District.
He has been one of the most active members of the
Petarian Association during the 1990s.
He has served on the Managing Committee of the
Association several times as Joint Secretary
General and Joint Secretary Sports..
During the
disastrous floods of 2010, Jacobabad District
(including his own village Sheranpur) were
inundated with water. He stayed on until the last
minute to help the people of his district and
participated extensively in rebuilding their lives
after the waters receded.
