Usman Jamil Khan - 1999

Usman Jamil Khan, kit no. 7966/Qasim House joined Cadet College Petaro in 1979 in 8th Class and left the college in 1984 after completing his Intermediate.

He was born on 14 June 1967 and got married to Mrs. Nazish on 12 June 2000. They have 2 children - Sumer Nasim and Harris.

Usman was the SUO (Senior Under Officer) of his entry in 1983-84. He was the Captain of the college Swimming Team that same year, and was awarded the Badge of Honour after Matric.

Usman joined Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) after leaving Petaro as a pilot and eventually became a Captain on the Airbuses operated by PIA. In 2005, he left PIA and joined Etihad Airways and is a First Officer / Captain / Pilot on the A330 aircraft in that airline as well. He is now based in Abu Dhabi.

Usman has been a member of  the Managing Committee of the Petarian Association in various capacities in the past.
