Asif had his early
schooling at the Govt School at Petaro. And when
his father moved to Habib Public School, Karachi,
he moved there as well.
In 1982, when Prof.
Warsi returned to Petaro, he took admission as a
cadet in 8th class at Cadet College Petaro. But
when Prof. Warsi decided to move the same year to
Pakistan Steel Cadet College Karachi, Asif also
moved with him and was in the first batch of PSCC
which had been established that year.
After completing his
Matric, he left PSCC due to his great interest in
aviation and flying. He joined Shaheen Aviation to
become a pilot in 1986. After qualifying in
various courses and training programs, he
proceeded to the USA for further training.
On 11 November 1992,
while he was flying a small trainer aircraft, he
crashed over New Jersey and expired. His body was
brought back to Karachi where he is buried.
May Allah grant him
jannatul firdaus. |
