Waqas started his early education at Iqra High
School, Tando Allahyar and completed his 7th class
from there before joining Cadet College Petaro.
His father had his own business in the same city.
He was a good student at Petaro and always scored
an A1 grade. He was extremely fond of football and
cricket and was a member of the Karate club.
He was known to be a very simple person and
remembered with fondness by his colleagues and
friends. Rarely would he hurt any person's
feelings, and if he ever felt he did so, he would
be the first one to apologize.
After leaving Petaro, he got admission to Bahria
University at Karachi from where he was doing his
BBA.
In November 2011, he was infected with an attack
of viral hepatitis. This led to paralysis in his
body, and it affected some of his organs including
his liver. He was admitted to Darus Sehat Hospital
in Gulistan-e-Jauhar and placed on a ventilator as
he was unable to breathe otherwise. At first it
seemed that his condition was improving. However,
on 21 November 2011, his condition deteriorated
and he expired. He was taken to his ancestral
Tando Allahyar the same day where he was buried.
May Allah have mercy on his soul and grant him
Jannatul Firdaus.
