The Cadets of Cadet
College are the Ornaments and Armaments of Pakistan. They should
know that:
-
The crown and glory
of life is character.
-
An honest man is
the noblest work of the Lord Almighty.
-
He is not fit to
live who is not fit to die; and he his not fit to die who shirks
from the duty of life.
-
Life means enormous
challenge, hard struggle, great labour, risk and competition,
battles and wars.
-
The charm and meaning
of life lie in trying to attain the unattainable.
-
how dull it is to
pause, to make an end, to rust unburnished, not to shine in
use.
-
The is yet to be.
-
Arise, awake and
stop not till the goal is reached.
-
You may be beaten
at first, you may have to wait, but the courage that endures
and is undaunted generally at last prevails.
-
They never fall
who fall in a good cause.
-
Patience is the
plaster for all sores.
-
More things are
wrought by prayer than this world dreams of.
-
One who stops praying
stops growing.
-
He lacks most who
longs most.
-
Make your claim
of wages zero, the world shall be under your feet.
-
Man is not made
of dust only, but possesses a spark of the Divine light.
-
Self-reverence,
self-knowledge, self-control lead life to sovereign power.
-
Genius connotes
capacity to take infinite pains.
-
Man is the captain
of his soul, master of his mind and the architect of his own
fate.
-
The world is a comedy
to those who think, a tragedy to those who feel.
-
Time is the stuff
of which life is made.
-
Procrastination
is the thief of time.
