Annual PANA gathering for 2010 was held at
Erindale Park, Mississauga, ON, Canada on 26 June 2010. Forty seven
Petarians came with their families from all over USA and Canada. It

The Petarian Association held
its AGM at Fleet Club Karachi on 20 March 2010. During this
meeting, major changes to the Bye Laws were approved and passed,
which inducted ALL Petarians into the membership of the
Association without payment of fees. This revolutionary step will
go a long way in strengthening Petarian brotherhood and unity.

"2nd Gulf Petarians Reunion" was held on
29-30 January 2010 at a resort in Ras Al Khaima or Fujairah with
overnight stay and fun packed program including a boat ride and

"Petaro Automation Project" inaugurated by
Prof. M. Akram Bhatti on 15
November 2009 at Petaro. The project was funded by the
Petarian Foundation

Ground breaking ceremony of the A.M.Nizamani TCF Secondary
School at Petaro held on 15 November 2009 at 11am. Around 40 Petarians participated
in the ceremony. Pir Mazharul Haq was the Chief Guest and
Prof. M.Akram
Bhatti was the Guest of Honour.

TPA Islamabad
Chapter held Iftar Party at Margalla Hotel on 12 September. Nearly
60 Petarians participated.

PANA 7th Reunion was held at
Maryland on 27 June 2009. This was the largest gathering in its
history.

Petarian Association, Karachi
hosted a dinner for the Chief of Naval Staff at Pearl Continental
Hotel, Karachi on 6 May 2009.

Petarian Association of UAE
held its first Annual Gathering on 15 February 2009.
Khalid Ranjhani was elected as the first President of PAUAE.
Petarian
Welfare Projects:
-
Petarian Foundation funded Rs. 337,500 for the purchase of a
small house for a very senior Petarian so that he can live in
peace with his family of 13 persons.

Petarian Foundation
has awarded scholarships to 45 CCP cadets during 2009-2010 year. A
total sum of Rs. 1,495,000 has been disbursed in scholarships this
year.

Project launched to build
TCF Secondary

supported by the Petarian Foundation and the Petarian Association.

Petarian Foundation
has sponsored Mr. Azhar Hussain, Senior Clerk, Accounts Branch at
CCP to proceed for Hajj during Nov 2009.

The Petarian Association funded
Rs. 5 lacs for relief of IDPs of Swat who were staying near
Karachi. Members of the Managing Committee visited the camp
several times to provide clothes and other items of relief to the
affected persons.

The
Petarian Foundation
joined hands with the Abdalian Association to establish a
Petarian-Abdalian Relief Camp at Peshawar for the IDPs of Swat,
Buner, etc. A total of around 500 IDPs were housed in a Govt High
School that was converted into a relief camp. The Abdalians-Petarians
provided full facilities to the affected persons including
housing, food, medical assistance, barber services, schooling for
the children, etc.

Association: The Petarian Association has announced a committee
headed by Bashiruddin Memon, 63/Latif to restructure The Petarian
Association along with other Petarian associations in other
countries to form a truly Global Petarian Association. The
committee comprises of Petarians from other countries as well.
This committee is expected to complete its work at an early date.
