Mr. Abdul Qadir Baloch joined Cadet College
Petaro initially as Senior Clerk in the Accounts
Dept in 1967, and was evenually promoted to be the Bursar in 1994.
He retired from this position in 1998.
He was born on 15
November 1938 at Shikarpur and got married to
Mrs. Kulsoom Begum in September 1967. They have
seven children - Naeem, Surayya, Saleem, Waseem
90142/Latif, Fauzia, Faiza and Naseem.

Mr. Baloch
acquired his early education at Shikarpur, and completed his
Matric in 1957 from Govt High School Shikarpur. He then passed
his Intermediate exam from Govt. College Sukkur. Later on he
sat for his BA and MA Political Science exams privately
through Sindh University.
His first
job was with the Industrial Urban Cooperative Bank, and was
posted as Branch Manager at Petaro in 1963 while Col. Coombes
was the Principal. He left Petaro in 1965 and was moved to the
Drigh Road, Karachi branch of the bank. Shortly after the 1965
War, he was posted to the Gambat Branch where he worked unti
1967.
In 1967, he
opted to return to Petaro, but this time he joined Cadet
College Petaro and was appointed Senior Clerk in the Account
Dept. In 1970, he was promoted to the position of Accountant,
and then as Chief Accountant in 1972. He worked in this
position until 1994, when he was finally promoted to the
position of Bursar of the college.
Mr. Baloch
remained Bursar for 4 years until 1998 when he retired from
service. For the following 3-4 years, he remained unemployed.
Then finally in 2002, he was appointed on a contract as the
Bursar of Cadet College Sanghar. He served in this position
until the end of 2010, when his contract ended.
Being so
attached to Petaro, he then returned once again, and has taken
up the position as the Audit Officer at Cadet College Petaro
since the beginning of 2011.
