Mr. Sheeraz Ali Channa - 2011

Mr. Sheeraz Ali Channa is currently Civil
Engineer in the Building Department at Cadet College Petaro
since 2010. He is responsible for the development and
construction projects at the college.
He was born on 27
June 1973 at Hyderabad,
and got married to Mrs. Shannila Gul on 25 January 2003.
They have one son - Shafique-ur-Rehman, named after his
grandfather.
Sheeraz is the son of
late Shafique-ur-Rehman Channa, kit no. 20/Jinnah House
who was from the first batch of Petarians.

He acquired his
entire schooling - primary to high school - from Public
School Hyderabad from where he completed his Matric in
1990 and his H.S.C. in 1992. He then joined Mehran
University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro and
got a B.E. degree in Civil Engineering in 1999.
His first job was as
Project Engineer at Al Parveen Paper Mill from
2004-2005. He then moved to Dubai and worked with
Mubashir Contracting LLC as Site Engineer from
2005-2006, and at Sadiyat General Contracing Est Abu
Dhabi as Project Engineer from 2006-2007. He then joined
Rasekh General Construction, Sharjah UAE as Project
Engineer from 2008-2009 before moving back to Pakistan.
He moved to Islamabad and worked with M/s PEA as Bridge
Engineer at their project in D.G. Khan from 2009-2010.
and with MSL, Multan as Senior Structure Engineer for 3
months in 2010.
He then joined Cadet
College Petaro in October 2010 in the Buildings Dept.
He is a registered
Professional Engineer with the Pakistan Engineering
Council.
