Capt. Sajjad Ilahi Malik, PN, (often referred to
as Cdre. S.I. Malik) was the ninth
principal/commandant of Cadet College Petaro from
1991-1994.
After leaving Petaro, he was promoted to the rank
of a commodore, and then retired from the Pakistan
Navy in the late 1990s on that rank.
Cdre.(R) S.I. Malik was born on 14 March, 1945 and got married to
Mrs. Masooma on 6 October 1972. They have four children.
Cdre.(R) S.I. Malik expired at Islamabad on 15 June, 2004 of cancer.

After leaving Petaro, he joined the Bahria
Foundation as the Director of Education and was
instrumental in setting up Bahria Colleges in
Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other cities.
After his retirement from the Navy, he set up a
stationary shop in F-8 Markaz, Islamabad, which he
managed until his death in 2004.
