Mr. Rao Saeed Ahmad - 2010

Mr. Rao Saeed Ahmad joined Cadet College Petaro in
2004 as Lecturer of Mathematics and is currently
in the same position.
He was born on 8 June 1969 at Bahawalnagar,
Punjab, and got married to Mrs. Humera on 30 April
2000. They have four children - Hafiz Mussa, Hafiz
Umer, Summiah, and Khudeejah.
His father was a professor of Urdu in Degree
College Bahawalnagar. He was a good poet and wrote
many books in Urdu and English.

Rao Saeed completed his Matric in Science group
from Govt High School Haroonabad in 1985 and F.Sc.
(pre-engineering) from Degree College Haroonabad
in 1987. He then acquired his B.Sc. degree from
the same college in 1989 and B.Ed. from Islamia
University, Bahawalnagar in 1991. He
completed his M.Sc. in Mathematics from I.U.B.
(Punjab) in 1995. He is also got an M.A. in
Pakistan Studies, History and Political Science in
1997 from the same university.
Soon after his graduation, he worked initially as
Lecturer in Mathematics at Degree College
Haroonabad from 1995-2000. He then worked as
Lecturer at Army Public College, Pano Akil from
2000-2004 before joining Cadet College Petaro.
In additional duties, he has been In Charge of
hockey since 2006, and served as Assistant House
Master of Jinnah House from 2007-2011. He is also
Officer In Charge of the college masjid since
2008.
He was given the Best Teacher Award in Mathematics
in 2008-2009, and a shield was given by Pir
Mazharul Haq.
Like his father, Rao Saeed is a poet. He loves to
write humourous poetry. He is planning on
publishing a book as well.
Two of his nephews are Petarians - namely Junaid
2005159 and Hamza 2009078.
