Capt.
Alexander Law Macpherson Russell
(popularly known as A.L.M. Russell) joined
the college in 1962 and left the college
in 1965.
He was lecturer of English
language.

Capt.
Russell had completed his M.A. in English from Glasgow.
He was
commissioned into the Royal British Army in the Royal Army
Educational Corps (RAEC) on 24th March 1956 as a 2nd
Lieutenant. (ref: The London Gazette, 1956, page 2697). He was
promoted to the rank of a Captain on 29th November 1959 in the
Short Service Commission. (ref: The London Gazette, 1959, page
7608)
On 21st
April 1962, he was placed under the Reserve List (ref: The
London Gazette, 1962, page 3272). He then proceeded to
Pakistan and joined Cadet College Petaro as teacher of English
Language.
Capt.
Russell's wife was quite popular with the cadets at Petaro as
she used to teach them swimming.
