Mr. Zabhiullah - 2001

Mr. Zabhiullah joined Cadet College
Petaro in 1998 as Lecturer of Pakistan Studies and is currently
Assistant Professor there.
He was born on 30
April 1971 at Deh 170-A - his village in District
Mirpurkhas. He is
still a bachelor.

Zabhiullah's family
migrated to Sindh from Jalandhar back in 1886. Belonging
to a highly educated family, his grandfather was a
graduate of Aligarh Muslim University. His elder uncle
was an eye specialist and younger uncle is an engineer.
His father (expired in January 1978) was a teacher by
profession. He has five brothers and four sisters.
His entire schooling
was at Govt High School Deh 170 in Mirpurkhas from
1976-1986 when he completed his Matric. He completed his
Intermediate (pre-engineering) from Govt. Degree College
Latifabad in 1989, and his B.A. (1994) and M.A. in
International Relations (1997) from Sindh University. He
also obtained a post-graduate diploma in Computer
Science from Sindh University in 2002.
His entire
professional career has been with Cadet College Petaro.
He joined the college in August 1998 as Lecturer of
Pakistan Studies and was promoted to rank of Assistant
Professor in June 2005.
Zabhiullah has been
the Assistant Divisional Officer / Asst House Master of
Shahbaz Division (1998-1999), Latif Division (1999-2000)
and Liaquat House (2000-2005).
Since 2005, he has
been the College Sports Officer, Officer In Charge of
Excursions and Trips, Officer In Charge of College
Calendar, and Officer In Charge of General Quiz. It is
to his credit that while he was Sports Officer, Petaro
won all the six gold medals at the 9th All Sindh Cadet
Colleges Sports Championship.
In terms of his
academic activities, he has been recognized as being a
very diligent and good teacher. In 2009, all 44 of his
students scored 75 marks out of 75 in the SSC Part 1
annual Board examination. This is a record for the
college.
For his great
performance, Zabhiullah was given the Proficiency Award
of Best Teaching in 2007 on Teachers' Day, presented by
Pir Mazharul Haq. On the occasion of the 47th Parents'
Day in 2008, the President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali
Zardari presented him with the Best Sports Officer
award.
